Heads up for the Uk guys and girls,
If you're near nottingham NG9(or willing to post) I'm officially offering Design/Modding/Wc services now,
I'll be posting a relevant thread once Mr Jpishgar tells me where I need to post it, but I have a couple of local shops advertising for me and wanted to share my happy news with my Toms family :)
Heres to the future!

I'm a bit late to the game but welcome back Moto!! Oh and congratulations on your new business!

Unfortunatly I don't have any projects to show for currently, once I get my wood shop all up and running I think I'll be building a custom case for the old computer.

Sounds interesting! :)

I've been AFK for a bit too long as well. Being a Junior in High school is a lot of fun. I wish I had more time to spend on PC's and other things, but it will have to wait 1 more semester.

Good to see you back moto? :)

K2, I also have a corsair 990d, and I pulled that god awful plexi glass window out of the side panel, brought it in to my local glass shop, and for 11.00 us, i purchased a custom cut piece of glass, and i installed in in the side panel, and let me tell you, a world of difference!

That sounds like a really good idea, think I might do something similar. Can I see a pic of your case with the window?

I dont have any pics of the side panel with the new glass on me, so i will send it later today when i get home, although i do have a pic of the case w/most of the components installed. It should be completed this weekend, its taking me longer than expected to bend the acrylic for the 2 watercooling loops. I have since re-routed the the acrylic on the bottom of the cpu block to pass directly in front of the gpus. It does look better that way, although restricting the removal of my gpus without draining both loops.

I don't post enough on Toms Hardware for it to make any kind of difference on how I post. If they don't like it, they need to remove the option to reply in that fashion I would say.

Are those fan grills painted by thou or were they bought painted? Looks like they are anodized...

2 loops or one? IMO, if you got that straight line lined up behind the GPU, it'd look aesthetically solid but that would require you to redo your tubing coming out above the res and to the CPU.
