It's beautiful!

You have more control with a custom loop to make it however you want

Have you breadboarded the system yet to make sure everything works. Might not be a bad idea. Even brand new components can be DOA.

What's the ETA on that case? They don't have any cheap ATX cases down at that mall so you can get your beak wet?

StickG1- Yes I made a test bench a little more than 2 weeks ago and the GPU, Motherboard, and everything booted up ! :) The case..hm...The case takes about 2 weeks to ship or 2-3 but i dont know WHEN they will start shipping it out. Im sure pretty soon. AND YES! THEY HAVE A 600T case in the mall, they have a CM STORM and a few others but man..prices here are a lot. I should check. I have 520 dirhams and a case..eh, probably 1k....

Yeah I really love the fractal. I should see how much the 600t costs BUT I HIGHLY doubt i have enough for it. You know, Lutfij , Prices here are insane. Probably over 1000 dirhams...(which is 272 dollars onus and patrick) and im sure its more than 1k. Ill check though

I know mate, I lived in the UAE and computer hardware were always overpriced. I'm sure Stickg1 can vouch for the suggestion, when I'll say stick with air cooling like a Hyper 212 evo or a noctua NH D14 cooler. If you're going with watercooling, get the real thing.

H100's perform on par with high end air coolers.

A it is money doesn't grow on trees and even if they did you'd be paying alot more for the H100i down in the Emirates. The money saved can go towards paying your internet bills and staying on Tom's a lil longer :) J/K - maybe a good time with friends for a BBQ @ the weekend?

Im homeschooled so I have no friends :/ Lol. Thats why I got a PC! 😉 So you LIVED but you're still not here? StickG1 and LutFij and ya know all of you guys. You think I should get a closed loop or a custom cooler for now? If custom, make sure 140$ at max with the dye. Red dye :3

Nope that can't be possible, an entry level loop will set you back $200+ and a loop that's capable of expansion will set you back on $300+. add GPU blocks to it and you'll need to account for more.

If you want watercooling just for the looks, be aware that its a hobby and it doesn't come cheap. Especially when mistakes could lead to damaging all your parts.

If you'd ask my opinion, read the watercooling sticky in my sig. Its got everything you'll need to know on how to get the loop up. Its not rocket science btw, but it does need some concentration and sincerity to read :)

If in doubt always revert to next best thing, air cooling.

Yeah, for NOW ill stick with closed loops, preferably corsair's (yea im a noob when it comes to cooling 😛 ) But I dont think I can make it a hobby, its an expensive one... So Ill get the h100i . Ill read the sticky post soon! Its 12:53 am here. Gtg sleep! btw lutfij, I am about to PM you something :) Its an OFF topic question, thats why :)

UPDATE: My youtube channel (other one) has 80$ and when its 100$ i can take it out..which leaves me with 240$. If im patient, I can get a full loop!

If your goal is aesthetics, tinkering, and extreme cooling for high overclocks, then save up to make a decent loop. If you just need to keep your system running at reasonable temps, air is so much cheaper and so much less trouble. "Cool" is expensive, and risky. A water-cooling loop that takes a leak on your system, especially while running, may kill it. Can you afford to replace parts damaged that way, and how quickly? Stick has made constant tweaking and modding a substantial part of his hobby, for which he pays dearly (and it takes a full-time job). If you want to play and/or learn on your PC as much or more than with it, then keep it simple.

I know I'll likely get jumped for this statement, but I don't think the CLCs are a good value. I've used them before and have never been that impressed. I'd rather have a $35 air cooler or spend the extra $100 on a custom loop. Just my opinion though. Some people find them aesthetically pleasing. I'm not one of those people.

Jumped by whom? Although the much pricier ones are indeed better than air, most of the CLCs aren't notably better than air coolers, yet cost more than twice as much. It may seem like snobbery, but I tend to agree with those who [think they] are "leet" when they say CLC systems are "Mickey Mouse" and a general waste. Custom loops aren't cheap, but they're not bought just for cooling, but for looks. Personally, it's not worth the price to me. I'm doubtful that it's worth the price or the risk to MDBA.

Even with a CLC(well 2 of them) I would not jump on anyone for that comment. For a very high percentage of people the 212(seeing as I have picked up many in the 15[great sale since the fan it self was going for 10$]-25 dollar range) is a great performer and none of the CLC's can get close to its price/performance ratio(of most air coolers). Air is also "safer" even if a fan fails it takes quite a while for things to heat up(I am not sure how long it takes with a pump failing, but chances are it would be faster to reach high temps).

For video cards, I think they do work out quite well because they take less space under the card and have great performance.

I love the idea of picking all the parts YOU(such a huge selection) want for custom loops. I would have nothing flashy, just clear distilled if it works without issues and no fancy leds/colors. Would all be about quieter operation.

Speaking of playing and tinkering. I think I'm going to make a test bench style case. I like the looks of them, and like the modularity and being able to swap stuff out easy.

I was thinking of buying one, but the price just seems unreasonable, more than I've ever spent on a case.

I like these..

Dimastech Easy V3.0 Bench/Test Table

Primochill Wet Bench

But $140 to $170 seems insane! Plus neither of those would even accommodate my proposed setup. It might take a while, but I think the only solution is to build my own. It will be made mostly of wood, because that's the medium I'm most comfortable with and already own all the tools for. I think it could be pretty cool.

Also I can use the i3-3220 chip and board for a bit while I use my MPOWER to get all the spacing right.

Yeah, it will likely spend it's life with no discrete GPU, one 500GB HDD, with remedial tasks such as streaming netflix or other video playback.

Once it's done as a place holder for my main rig's board. I was thinking of getting once of this In Win slim cases.

Is this kind of like the mini-ITX variant you own? Mostly I need to know if the PSU is reliable enough or what I could replace it with that would fit.
