If I'm going to put a GTX 960 in a mid-tower ATX case, PC partpicker says it'll block some of the HDD bays. Has anyone else whose built encountered an issue like so? Seeing as I run 2HDD and 1SSD, I don't want trouble. I'm looking at the NZXT Phantom 410 and the MSI 960. Do you really need a full ATX tower to fit a graphics card in well these days? I'd probably go with the EVGA superclocked anyway since those are always shorter and perform well.

What case? Pretty much any case made after 2013 should allow you to remove one or more of the HD bays so that shouldn't be an issue.

Then look at the PCpartpicker compatibility note.

I think PC Part Picker tends to overestimate the size of GPU coolers. I couldn't verify that the Phantom 410 has removable HD cages but from the looks of the internal pictures you should be able to remove the middle HD cage, so space should not be a problem.

I would say $150 is the sweet spot for a case. If you want something highly attractive take a look at the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe and the Corsair 760T. Also consider the NZXT Source 530 and H440, and the Fractal Design Define R5.

On another note this is how my mITX rig is shaping up:

Case: TBD - most likely Silverstone RVZ02B, alternate I am considering the In Win 904
PSU: Silverstone SFX 500W (purchase pending)
Motherboard: Zotac Z77 ITX Wifi (purchased)
CPU: Core i5-3570K (left over part)
Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i (yet to be purchased)
RAM: 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 MHz (left over part)
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 760 (left over part)
CD: Slim optical drive (purchase pending, although most likely will not be used)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (left over part)

Although for a 760 and 3570K, can I get away with 450W for this rig? I would save money that way.

Not much, I would spend ~$30 max. I really like my NZXT Source 210. Clean and simple design with decent cable management. It has everything I want and doesn't feel flimsy either. I spend more time using my PC than looking at it so really I couldn't care less about the case aesthetics. As long as it's not one of those over the top/flashy cases I am fine with it.

I agree Razer. If your computer is hidden away in a cabinet or under the table, the switch 210 is amazing. But if your computer is a showpiece or on your desk at all times. Then I really like the Define r5 or the h440 or the entho luxe/pro

No...This is a fridge

Even the Fractal Define looks fridge like.

My last 2 cases have been an Antec 1200 and now this NZXT Phantom 820. I'll keep this one a while. Very happy with it thankfully because it was expensive as hell.

Y know I believe it was MNPC tech that modded that COSMOS II and added rebel badges and two cylinder resivoirs at the front with red coolant.

That bottom area at the 904 makes so much sense now that I see the DVD drive....

I've been looking at the In Win 901 for my mini ITX rig, that would be very sweet looking. But if I can't afford it I'll go for the Silverstone RVZ02B but I've been waiting forever for that thing to be released. I think it's been at least since Computex that the case was announced.

I never spend more than $80 on principle. Especially if it is just an average PC with a gtx960. No need for anything crazy at all.

The Phantom 410 will work for you just fine. You will slide the middle drive bays out and use the bottom one for your storage.

Not going to disagree(wanted one for a while too), The 280 is NOTHING like the 180 on the inside.

It would be like if the 1200 was much different than the 900. How many ways can one make a high airflow case anyway.

I still stand by the fridge look(not calling it bad or anything).

Yes at my firm I'd gladly have these cases, instead we're saddled with 8 year old Raidmax and Ultra junk, and HR refuses to pay for new ones.

I just tried installing a new SSD in an Ultra POS and that was a nightmare, and the thing still isn't installed right.
