There should be probably. I would check that you connected the LED to the correct pins on the motherboard. There should also probably be a HDD LED that blinks.

I still really want the Power LED....Wonder why its not working. I made it + and - and switched it and now its straight to the mobo, m connector i removed but still...when I put power in FP PWR thing just to CHECK , it didnt boot from the button so thats not it.

So, I'm wanting to add some lighting to my case when I get the H440 in(hopefully next week, I pre ordered about 2 weeks ago). My plan is to run a strip behind the motherboard to give it a glow effect without actually seeing the lights, and possibly on the case top, behind my h100i rad. Can you guys recommend a good brand to go with? Also, would red leds or white leds work better? I really want the light to kind of emphasize my red sleeved cables.
Sorry for all the questions, never really gotten into the whole case lighting thing before, so I'm pretty much in the dark here(yes, pun intended 😛) Thanks!

Ok, I could see the pics. The variety of lighting effects is ...interesting, and I don't mean that in a bad way, because they don't look too bright; "interesting" in a sense like a Star Trek control panel. I would have probably loved it a few years ago. It's fine now, but I just prefer a more subdued (but still with some glow) look now since my two main PCs are in my living room. The back panel looks fine.
Russ yours was pretty cool too. I think that's the HD7870 I have (but I have just one). Mine also stays cool, but I believe at the expense of things around it. You're wise to have a fan on your VRMs for that reason.
Tiny, is your PC extruding pasta noodles? Lol, actually it looks neat that way. Besides, I shouldn't say too much. Although Phoenix looks good, Omega is a mess, which you'll get to see later this weekend, probably tomorrow when I put the HD7970 back in it and try to neaten it up some. I may even throw in a bonus of me wearing an authentic tricorn that I ordered from Colonial Williamsburg. It arrived tonight. Russ I suspect you will particularly like it, as I believe we are on the same page politically.

Guys, NEVER INSTALL CORE TEMP. EVER. I removed it yesterday cause whenever I open it, it freezes my PC. Good thing I installed my 1 year norton anti virus because It found a trojan with coretemp and removed it....I just use HW monitor now. There are even posts about it on forums.. Just thought you'd need to know, maybe Tiny, Cause he recommended it, I fear he may have it downloaded so if you guys do, Uninstall it :)

just my advice............never use norton ever again. It uses the most system resources and (last i used it) Even though it updated definitions daily it actually only got new definitions once a week. Get trend micros or kaspersky

oh ok if it was free then yea. I use trend micros cause i got it for free. Kaspersky and trend are both fantastic companies. Nortons was once but now they just slow down a pc more than pretty much any other name brand anti virus out there.

Im taking my pc to work with me this morning and im going to work on the cable management and zip tie some stuff and mod my haf x. I'm going to remove the hdd bays that are located inside the case that block the front intake fan. I dont use them so they are really just blocking the front intake fan. should make a noticeable difference in temps with a good from intake. Argh 5:22 a.m. is to early.
