You actually need to be in the right mindset (and sometimes the right venue) to enjoy these things. Golf isn't a contest like football where you've got grunting sweathogs trying to out-burl one another; it's a game of angle and intellect, balanced against individual skills; the shots each player knows he is able to make. I don't watch it myself, but used to watch with Dad sometimes, and still may pay a little attention to it if he watches during a visit.
Baseball is horribly boring on TV, but on the radio isn't half-bad, and in person at the stadium can be ok too.
Hockey is great on TV; the scale fits well.
I always enjoyed hockey, but now with 1080p broadcast it's way better, it looks amazing and way easier to keep track of the puck. But in general, high definition television, larger but still more crisp screens, it has done wonders for live sports.
Kinda bored, can't sleep. I'll share some pics and give a brief update since I've been so scarce lately. I have been working very hard, and finally, I am close to being a licensed and insured contractor. I've met a lovely girl, and everything is going very well for me.
As far as my PC setup goes for my new apartment. I parted out some of my few rigs. My main PC is a GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ board, FX-8320e @ 4.2GHz, 8GB generic 1600MHz CL9 ram, Sapphire R9 270x, 120GB Mushkin SSD, 1TB WD Blue, Rosewill ARC M550, in a Corsair 350D.
I have an old Llano APU A4 setup as an HTPC too. Not really worth mentioning but it gets the job done.
Here's a custom cedar sauna I did in a real high in home last week, just thought I would share. I even did the LED lighting for them.
