First post in this thread, here's my recently upgraded "Workstation" build. Still have some things to take care of like buying an I/O Shield for the board, the remaining 20GB of RAM and possibly a new power supply, I don't know yet.

Haven't posted in a while. We are getting new internet (FINALLY!), out uVerse internet was slowing down from 12 to 3, called ATT, said there was a problem with a line, asked them why they don't fix it, they said its on your side. Brought a technician, he said it was on their side. THEN they increased our price from 26$ to 50$ for 12, but we get 3. So we moved over to TWC, only other carrier. ANy suggestion on a good router w. 5ghz for under 100$

Sweet! H440 for the win!

So I think I am about ready to pull the trigger on the monitor I want. So here's my requirements:

- Screen size: Minimum 27", max 32"
- Minimum resolution: 2560x1440, 4K would be preferable, but 1440P minimum
- 1ms would be nice but not required
- Budget: Around $500

Does anyone have any suggestions for monitors I should be looking at around that price range?

Which is mess up whatever I try to do 😛

I have to make a new Win 10 install USB, and make sure I have all needed drivers, ninite multi-install, MSI afterburner... Anti-virus and Spybot-antibeacon... Am I missing anything?

Firefox with AdBlock+, NoScript, and Lazarus; unless you download those once it is running. I use Thunderbird for email, and MalwareBytes. Don't forget your mouse drivers, but you can grab things like that once it's up and running.

Mouse drivers?

I've never installed a mouse driver, though my mouse is a cheap $5 thing. Makes sense if it's a gaming mouse, but how do you know Death has one of those?

I use Windows Auto drivers for mouse and keyboard.

I use Chromium, Firefox isn't my thing(although it's in the ninite installer for my mom)...
I should take Chrome out of the ninite and put in a Chromium .exe....

Chromium is the open source version which has none of Google's trackers

It uses the same Chrome addons.... Used Adblock Origin, Toms extension, Dark Youtube, a twitch addon.

Then I ran my handy-dandy rash attack and clean temp folder batch every time I close the browser

So I'm looking at picking a case i've wanted for awhile now the corsair AIR540 but im curious is it better to have the front and tops fans set up as 2x 140mm front and 2x 140mm top exahust or 3x 120mm front intake and 3x 120mm top exhaust?

I'd personally go with the 140mm fans since they'd be a lot quieter. I think most others would probably recommend 140mm also, but that's just my personal recommendation (and it'll save you money).
