People try relating to cars when they try explaining pc parts/components...so this is yet within sanity 😛

Not kidding! Both drain the wallet dry and leaves you wondering when the next upgrade will be to outdo the other guy 😀

:)

Very well put! Sometimes I feel the pain when spending money on my car that could have gone into the computer. Just spent $1300 on race clutch/flywheel/solid clutch lines/trans and diff fluid. For the car, this isn't too bad, but part of me REALLY would love to put that money into a computer. But in all honestly, my computer is fine and does what I need and I will get more out of that money putting it towards the car parts.

Priorities,....I try to have them 😀.

Priorities is the key word here. Some people like to spend on their car more while some spend it all as lunch money or on other things in life 😛
What dya take off from this post; different strokes for different folks.

Has anyone seen this?

a second version of this case will be released, currently in development phase and will have an option for 2 slot GPU's - dubbed L2. You can find progress via Google search [H] lone industires L2.

One way to keep the upgrade bug at bay is to take a look at your PC, and ask yourself "how can I make this better for me that will be a worthwhile difference?"
If you're already getting 60+ FPS in every game you play, and nothing else is slow, you may just realize you can save your money.
You might notice I've actually been moving more toward the low end, since I'm not playing any current games (although I readily admit that needs to change).
I think my next experiment will be to attempt to run and/or charge all of my gadgets for a week using solar power only. This won't include my DSL modem and router though, nor the laptop unless I can find a 12+ charger for it.

Tiny- Just giving you a hard time bud 😛

Lutfij - Will do

I have a question, the obsidian 450D came out...JUST THE case i was looking cause i wanted something in between the 750d and 350d and The 450D looks great, is my AIR 540 better, whats your opinion guys?

I think overclocking a new CPU like the 4th gen intel line up is pretty useless for now. Maybe in 2-4 years, It'll be useful for upgrades, and to gain more performance. When I overclocked my i5 4670k, i didn't really see a huge gain from games I play. The GPU was mainly a huge upgrade. It doubled the amount of FPS for me, and it'll last longer for me. (I don't plan to upgrade my pc for at least 3-4 years) It was pretty useless since my 770 still plays games on full.

I also got my 780 ti to play on multi monitors, I'm planning to get 2 more asus 144hz monitors when they're on sale. Or buy some used ones for cheaper, but I risk my investment doing that (Dead pixels, the store made it pretty clear I had a chance it would have some dead pixels. Luckily, it didn't 😀)

Also want to upgrade my audio setup. Thinking about that logitech z906 setup.

Question for that, do I really need a sound card for those speakers? My MSI motherboard comes with a optical input. Should I use that?

Building a computer is just like building a hot rod, constantly a work in progress, always trying to improve. Not quite as expensive(luckily)

Edited, somehow I quoted 2 posts there, ny bad
