If you are not running it too hard and have the power supply on the bottom of the case it can help since it is not sucking cpu heated air and generating too much heat of its own.

When on a budget it is about getting the best YOU can afford without placing your system at risk(so keep it cool and get more than you need). Please ensure you keep the fan clean on a bottom mounted power supply as well since they tend to suck more dust.

The lower the better always in voltage. Creates less heat and less stress. Im still trying to decide between another 780ti or new mobo and cpu. Toms did a review saying there wasnt ALOT of difference from a 2500k to a 4670k but games like bf4 did benefit from the 4770k that are cpu heavy especially online multiplay. Gah i dunno.

I thought about tge new asus rog board the maximus but I dont wanna spend 300 dollars on a mobo. Im fine with $200 so I was thinking about the msi mpower max, and a few asus boards. I just dont like the yellow on the msi mobo. I need red to match rest of my system. Im still trying to justify the jump from the 2500k to the 4770k. I like to oc and these new cpu's dont have much headroom for it or so it seems.

I cant justify that mobo. You are paging extra for the wc'ing ability which I wont be doing. Im not an extreme overclocker so $300 for a watercooled mobo just seems illogical. Its been awhile since I did my mobo and cpu so im not sure what mobo's are best bang for buck and solid. I like my msi board but the only red and black ones they have are the ones like you purchased. Im fine with msi but I want a board thats gonna be solid for overclocking. I was always a asus fan and I very welk may go sli so its gotta be sli capable aswell and I have a huge case so it doesnt have to be small. I will most likely be getting the h100i to cool the cpu if I go that route so.

I would DEFINITELY not get a 4770k and a new motherboard. You can get a 2700k/ 3770k, overclock the hell out of it, and get the same or similar results. AND you don't have to buy a new motherboard and risk reinstalling windows. Plus not buying a new board saves you $150-$200.

Just been workin' man. Bought a truck. Here's the front, I'll take more pics later when the weather is better.

StickG1 - Haha thats very nice! Congrats! I think I saw that but white the other day...the driver was a jerk though, he cut us off. But thats besides the point. Very nice! Thats a pickup right?

Probably voltage I had BSOD problems when I was adjusting the voltage on my RAM
