Yes sir....... love the look of a huge case with it full of parts.....lol

I'm still looking for that"perfect" case myself. The 440 was quite a dissapointment to me. I'm still on the fence about getting a 760t, but I've never had a full tower case. The 500r I'm using now is basically a full tower but...I just want something with a large window, 8 or so fan mounts, and the ability to keep my gfx cards cool 😛.

I like the 400r but I would like a side window.

I have never found more than 3 fans or so is necessary, even with my old gtx560 OC SLI build.

I just want a smart looking case. I told myself I would stop wasting money on changing cases all the time though.

I should do the same thing, I've been through 3 in about 6 months... I really like the 500r, but in modding the window in I've found I really suck at cutting a straight line with a jigsaw 😛 I really like the full window on the 760t, and it, unlike the 540, will show off my power supply shroud. But for about 200 bucks shipped.. its a pretty steep price, and almost twice as much as I've ever paid for a case.

BTW TINY - I cant bring my case to the US anymore....for this 4 month trip 🙁 We could end up staying there which means my parents will come back and get all the stuff so just in case...Im gonna pack it as if I was taking it before I leave. Will it mess up in a room with AC for 4 months?

Back on topic, See, I cant buy cases as often as you guys...Im trying to save up for 127 dollars.. I have 4 so far 😀

I actually modded a window in my R5. I used a jigsaw and a dremel to neaten it up afterwards. Looks decent.

I generally try to never pay over $100 for a case.

I like the r4 but it is lacking that "interesting" factor. I also like cases with an extended top like my R5 so you can install fans but not have them be seen. I really like the 400r. I just wish it had a side panel I didn't need to mod in.

I'm spending money on my car and not computer for a while though. lol we will see how this goes.

So you are taking your computer but not the case? Buying anew case here? Or just leaving the whole computer there for 4 months?

The reason I went to 500r from the 400r was for the h100i mounting.I don't much care for the proprietary plug on the fan controller on the 400 and 500r's though. Wish it had standard fan plugs. would make my cable routing a TON easier 😛.

Tiny - No, Not bringing my PC at all. Only my laptop. Im gonna take the GPU out the PC, put it in the GPU box, Leave the GPU box in the room with the AC, leave everything else in the PC, Put the two foams that it came with, use the cover that came with the cause, and put it in its box....either that or just take it and put it on the ground. Which you recommend? And My PC WONT mess up if its just sitting there for 4 months, or we may just end up living in the US so my parents will have to come back and have them shipped thats why I wanna pack them.

Dude, you can just leave the whole thing assembles. It will be fine. Throw a towel or blanket over it so it doesn't get dusty. That's all I would do.

If you are worrying about shipping it without you there, just disassemble as we talked about before and pack it up.

I rarely replace cases for an existing system, and rarely re-build in the same case, as the previous system probably went to someone else, intact. I actually have two or three low-end but relatively solid cases sitting around, one with an old C2D mobo in it, and I'm not sure what's in the other, but it's old.

The only way I would switch cases if they have one of the following.
1. Built in fan controller with at least 6 fans connected
2. Super good on airflow
3. Has a door to cover the CD DVD drives
And 4. Sexy level needs to be over 9000

Sadly, no case I know doesn't offer that but nzxt cases like the phantom line up and the h440. The phantom 410 does everything I need.

Its a good looking case, but it has all this fan placements but no where to connect them but your motherboard. When you go to gaming mode, I can just move the slider up on the top of the case and my fans go on full blast and delivers cool air all the time (my GPU loves me for that, 50C on heavy gaming is something lol)

I have never really seen the need for alot of fans. Even when I had my mATX SLI build, My components were perfectly cool with 3 fans set to 50% speed. Adding fans or changing the speed made no difference.

I do like the Built in fan controller in my R5 though. I have only 3 fans again though. Lol. Just don't need anymore.
