The tiered lists for cases will do fine, just like this is doing fine. You're not going to have a best for the money list, just like this isn't one. You can't start arguing "mine costs XXX dollars so it must be better", because it doesn't work that way. In the same way, you're not going to be arguing about which tier a Corsair RM1000 belongs to based on its price by comparison to an XFX Pro Series 750W XXX Edition [Silver]. They are 2 different qualities, regardless of whether or not the XFX is $80 vs the Corsair at $150.

Speaking of which, you're missing the Corsair RM1000.

I don't think your analogy is quite right there since the $80 XFX is better than the $150 Corsair. And really, no one is missing anything by missing an RM or CS series or as I like to call them, Corsair's decline into mediocrity.

-You can't put a case in a tier based on its format. It removes the entire point of the list. In that manner, yes, I disagree with the previous poster's 9001 tiered suggestion.

-My analogy is right, because the $80 XFX is better than the $150 Corsair. My error was that I didn't read the previous poster's list because I really didn't care to read a WoT. My response was a response to a mishmash of previous posts, so it may have been confused as to whom I was responding.

Sorry about all of the model numbers etc, silverstone likes to discontinue things...

Regarding the power supplies, that XFX unit being a T1 puts a lot of downward pressure on the prices. You start wondering which units to recommend below it with it being $80, Silver certified, T1, and 750W.

I'm going to exercise a bit of moderation here to keep this thread on track dealing with power supplies. Dottorrent if you do a case tier list and want to link to it somewhere in the tier list itself that's fine but lets keep discussions in this thread to power supplies.

I may go through this thread and delete some irrelevant posts and if yours is one of them don't be offended it's just to keep the thread on track.

Good catch above about the missing Silverstone units. They are generally very good and unlike some other brands seem to truly be worldwide. Enermax should also be on the priority list as well in my opinion.

Read the review and 100% agree.

I do believe Hardocp tested it and it was 1% efficiency below Platinum at 100% load (15.3A [3.3v] - 15.2A [5V] - 71.1A [12v]) (Platinum 89%, Test 88%) at cold.

JonnyGuru's test (10 - 10 - 75) gave 89.2% Hot, 89.5% cold.
KitGuru's test (16.53 - 15.66 - 71.4) gave 92% hot.
TechPowerup's (3.03 - 9.046 - 76.233) gave 91.46% hot.
Overclock3d ran 91.6% [terrible review, no info]
NextHardware (italian) ran 91.9% [not sure if terrible, or bad translation for lack of amperage info]
technic3d (german) ran 90% [worst, rounded to whole numbers, no info]

I believe running below cert at a review is grounds for losing T1

Nothing wrong with that unit except at that price you can get 80 Plus Gold and likely modular. Are you in the US? If so here are a couple of great deals.
