Nice. Silverstone and Enermax don't get enough attention and they are available in places like Lebanon and Chile ( I helped users in both places recently ) and other places where selection is very limited. They are also generally good enough to recommend the brands by name.

Keep it up man. This list is getting quite good! MasterMace thanks for your contributions as well!

The Rosewill Lightning series needs additional scrutiny. 1000W Missed Gold Cert by 2% for the 100% Load on Tom's own test.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/psu-efficiency-1000-watt,2825-5.html

Jonnyguru's test of the 1300W missed Gold Cert by 0.5% for the 100% load.

I'm not going to call it margin of error like JG. I'm going to call it not Tier 2a, or just not Gold.

-----
Rosewill's Tachyon 650W missed Platinum cert at 50% and 100% on the 230v at Legitreviews' test

Tachyon 750W failed ATX spec holdup time (13ms achieved, 16ms minimum) and missed the 230v Platinum efficiency at 50% Load by 1.82%, and 100% load by 0.08% on TechPowerup's Test. I wonder how well it would have fared on the 115v. It also failed Hexus.net's Test at 230v at 50% by 1.3% and 100% Load by 1%.

I don't know how much weight you want to keep giving those review sites anymore considering they don't even know what Platinum Cert's requirements are (and with Hexus.net, to even run at 20% load instead of 25%).

It also failed Hardwaresecrets' Test on 115v at the 100% load by 0.7%. However, I don't know how much weight you want to give them, considering they didn't test it at 50%, nor was their electric source stable (118v dropping to 110v, prolly why they don't have an AC unit).

The 1000W is apparently faring even worse. Jonnyguru's Test at 115v fails Platinum at 50% hot and cold. The fan is ready to fall off its hinges. pcper's test had it fail Platinum on 230v across the board, and only passed the 115v at 20%, the other 2 were fails. Not sure on the emphasis you want to put on pcper, considering their not knowing the 230v specs.

Techpowerup's Test again shows the Tachyons failing ATX Holdup times (this time worse 8ms tested, 16ms minimum), 50% Load missed by 0.87%, also had fan issues.

Tweaktown's Test had no issues at the 115v tests. They didn't test the 230v. Not sure why theirs worked fine but these other guys didn't.

[edit note]For those reading in tandem with my updates, I'm a fan of reviews doing things the right way, I like seeing cold tests, to check the certs at cert temps, and hot tests with it to check real world operating temperatures. I do not like seeing them skip the cold test entirely. After reading a bit more from 1 of the sites, I've omitted some of my comments to those sites, as I understand why they think they should skip it.

I, and about 12% of the male population (and less than 2% of the female population) suffer from a cone receptor defect, commonly referred to as colorblindness. One, or more, of the three cone systems fails to operate properly. In my case, my red receptors are almost non functional, so I do not detect red light very well at all, so colors look to me as if the RGB red is set to zero. It is almost impossible to distinguish the colors in this list for me. My blue receptors work quite well, but blue is seldom used. Underlining, bold, italic and other adjustments would help me and others.

I was actually looking at those on Newegg yesterday. That actually look pretty nice.

Raidmax Vampire is where it belongs - tier 5 - as it will "suck the life" out of your system!

True - it is untiered - but, I'll stick to it'll suck the life out of your system (like other Raidmax)
unless it's shown to be otherwise. Unlikely(but possible) a brand with their track record would
suddenly offer a quality product.

The OEM for that Raidmax Vampire PSU series is HEC/COMPUCASE Enterprise Co., Ltd.

It's typical of Raidmax to use a low end OEM.

Agreed.

The 450w VX was made by Seasonic and was a very solid tier 2 or maybe even a tier 1 back when it was new in 2007. By today's standards it would still be a tier 2 or 2b. However it's been discontinued for quite a while now.

9.5/10 from jonnyguru although their reviews have come a long way since 2007! This was actually reviewed by Jonny before he started working for Corsair and gave up doing reviews.

Just a suggestion for easier readability. Since you are doing the 80 Plus in colors change the actual tiers to bold black and underline them.

Tier 1

Tier 2

Just makes it easier to tell where one tier begins and another ends.

Also don't forget to read the HardOCP review of the Corsair HX 1000i I posted above. The HXi series probably don't belong in tier 1.

You sure that Chieftec is 80 Plus Gold? RealhardtechX has it as pending 80 Plus Bronze. It's listed as 85% at 230v on their website.

http://www.chieftec.eu/en/psus/smart-series/sfx-350bs.html

There are no reviews but it's made by Sirtec and an 80 Plus Bronze/Silver at 230v Sirtec unit is going to be tier 3 at best.

The HEDY you should probably throw away or give to someone you don't like.

your link leads to chieftec SFX-350BS, mine isnt BS version.
What's so terrible about the HEDY PSU? tested it today, haven't noticed any issues, sure it isnt the most efficient model, aint even have 80+ but it's fairly cheap and compact, thats what matters here.

Also Fortron RAIDER 750 750W Active PFC 80 PLUS Silver arriving in monday. Always interesting to find out about new models.
