Thermal paste Question need a QUICK answer !!!

do i need to apply thermal paste on the CPU?

No you don't. That's all you need to get a good thermal interface between the heat sink the CPU.

That stock intel thermal compound will melt and flow where needed when you start operating your system.
Any more thermal compound added to the CPU would probably be too much and actual decrease performance.
