They were in stock yesterday, I posted it too...Mine shipped.

So it was only a paper launch for the 6600 and 6700, I think 6800s are around if you have a kidney to sell.

Who says that? what about the people who went to bed early the day before, the next day they woke up early and the first thing they did was look for conroe and they got it on TD and they got theirs shipped on august 2?

Why? As long as I get my stuff, I don't care. That is why I bought retail, I wouldn't buy an OEM chip, I am already seeing tales on other forums about scuffed Core 2 Duos that are obviously "pulls" (as they say in the biz) from already built computers.

They scared me for a second though I will say that. The tracking number I got was not working so I got ahold of a rep and it was fixed a few hours later. Now I see it's somewhere on the road...

AS I said, if they show up the E6600 retail im gonna cancel my OEM order and get the retail.

I dont see anything bad on a OEM processor that im not gonna overclock...
