Why the cringe? The dye actually looks like a pretty cool idea.

there is a fan on the outside and it is intake. the rad fans on top are exhaust as well as the 2 in the front. so basically the 120 fan outside(ultra kaze) is blowing cool air from outside to the fans on the top and then it gets sucked out by the fans on top(1xenermax magma) and 2x ultra kaze. the 2 fans in front are delta 120x25mm @4000 rpm. there is plenty of air flow through the case. I did a test. which is not really suppose to do BUT i light up my cigarette and blew smoke to see how fast the smoke would dissipate from inside and it stays there less then a second even with all fans at half speed.

Brilliant build Shakal ! You stole my color scheme though ! .. actually your rig is running and mine is still in my head so we'll let it pass . Everything looks great . Dont worry to much about moto .. ( he has no soul )

Yup, looking with fresh eyes I can see the fan on the top pic just peeking out, hows it working as intake vs exhaust? (as is the norm for that mounting point)
@Rufus, I have soul, I play the blues.....
I just don't have 'A' soul

Here is a photo I took today, might take some more on weekend with better lighting(using a phone as camera atm).

Hi, I just put together this computer in the past week(was using a stock cooler until I got my Hyper 212 Push-Pull set up).
For detailed about every single item, here:
I will list it here for those who don't want to look through that link:

CPU: Intel Ivy Bridge i5-3570K
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo(Push-Pull with Stock+Blademaster 120, Arctic Silver 5)
Memory: Corsair Vegenance LP 4X4G 16G DDR3-1600 CAS 9
GPU: Gigabyte N670 OC-2GD(1150 Mhz out of the box max boost, +92Mhz Kepler Boost)
Storage: SSD: Samsung 830 256GB
HDD: None atm
Optical: LG 24X DVD
Monitor: ASUS VG278H (27", 120Hz)
PSU: Seasonic X650 Gold (650W)
Case: Thor V2(230mm X3 + 140mm X1)

As far as temperature goes(Ambient: 23C):
CPU: Real Temp during Prime 95 Torture Blend, 3.6Ghz & 1.14V.
RealT3.png

Mobo: 28-30C
GPU: Max of 51C(during Heaven 3.0 max benchmark, 3DMark 11 and Games are only reached 50C so far)

Airflow: 5 Case Fan, 2 CPU Fan:
CPU: Stock 120mm fan for Hyper 212 (82 CFM) Push, CM Blademaster 120 (76 CFM) Pull.(Push-Pull resulted in a 3-5C drop in max core temp)

3 Intake: 2X230mm Case Fan(front & side panel), 1X 140mm(Bottom, 74 CFM)
2 Exhaust: 1X230mm Case Fan(top), 1X140mm Case Fan(Rear)

Benchmarks:

For reference, my fan profile for GPU.

For CPU I have the push-pull run at 12-1300 RPM during Idle, ASrock fan control will ramp both to 100%(1.9-2K) when CPU temp reaches the target of 55C.

So how does my system look? Am I prepared system wise for Ram/GPU/CPU OC?

Upgrades I am considering:

SLI(not maximizing my 120Hz monitor on demanding games such as BF3 atm)

PSU: Need more headroom for SLI & OCing, plus I can't get the route the CPU power cable from behind because the PSU plug-in is at the far left and the cable is too short for a full tower.

HDD: Thinking about getting a 3TB drive with good price/GB for mass storage & back-up, replacing my current 2TB external.

Case fan: I have a 140mm fan I am considering superglue/double sided tape/mounting tape to the bottom of the HDD cage(bottom 5 vacated), it should be feeding air to the CPU/GPU.
[strike]
Considering replacing the 230mm side panel with a 200mm CM Mega Flow, not sure if it is a upgrade CFM wise, but want a good LED fan on the side panel.[/strike] NVM this, I found out Mega Flow have Sleeve bearing thus making it unsuitable for a side panel fan.

Cable management wise I will go to work with the zip ties a little bit this weekend, rotate the bottom 140mm so its wire isn't in the way and get a 8pin-8pin extender so I can route my 8 pin CPU cable from the back instead of front.

Nice setup... I'd hate to hear what the guys have to say about you flashing that pic around before the cable management lol.

Wow, seriously? some skilled people around here... -crawls away- I fail at anything paint-related...leave that to my gal

I bought the SSD back around may for around $170, yes I'm jealous people can pick the same drive up for around 70-80 bucks now, but I've had no problems with it at all so far, *knocksonwood*

Cable management on your Yo-yo?
Sweeet 😛

Look forward to updated pics mate :)
One nice trick using ties,
if you drill two 4mm holes close together you can feed the tie through from the rear and then back through, keeping the big ugly block at the back out of sight and pulling your cables tight to the mobo tray.

Some eye candy! I DON'T CARE ABOUT CABLE MANAGEMENT 😀
