New pics! It looks so much better without the red and yellow. Thanks again! (And a bonus picture of the back of the rig. Did I do okay there?)

Sorry it took so long to get the pictures up, work and everything, you know 😛

Yup it runs nice and cool, gives me plenty of overclocking headroom too. I'd like to get an fx 8350 of 8320 just to see how far I could push it but I still can't justify the cost when I'm happy with the performance the phenom II provides.

The max I've pushed the phenom II 955 so far is up to 4.4Ghz stable. Also the pelt is on the smaller end but it can still drop the water temp a few degrees. The only reason I added the pelt was I had most of the needed stuff already lying around the house and it made for a fun addition to the loop. Once I get a a copper plate I will be able to run a larger more powerful peltier but for now the small one will have to do.

Months ago, I came here seeking advice on how to go about building my first computer and today I've come back to say THANK YOU to everyone that helped, THANK YOU to this existing community. I couldn't have done it without the support of the members of this very helpful community.

Today I have a gaming computer built for around $800 that can run Battlefield 3 at 60 fps on full ultra settings. It also runs at 40 celsius under that load.

I'm impressed with this build and very thankful to this communities help. That's all I wanted to say.

http://pcpartpicker.com/b/ArK <That was made possible by Toms Hardware's members. Thanks again. 😀

Anyways, rules are rules:

I got the transparent side panel from http://www.cmstore-usa.com/

I went there today to find the direct link for you but to no avail! I chatted online with a service representative named Marvin Ruelas and he says this: "I am afraid we are out of stock on that item. We should be getting more a month from now." So just check that site every so often. They ship quickly and I think it's the best site to get spare parts for any of your Cooler Master products. They have good clearance items once and a while as well. 😀

It certainly is! As I said on my PCPartPicker description, I wasn't going for a silent build but I lucked out I guess. This thing is a whisper and I love it.

Here's an update to my build, it doesn't look much different other then the SLI titans. Cost was just shy of $6000 after taxes and extended warranties. PCPartPicker was pretty off on some of the prices I paid.

(With Titans! NEW)

I've read that the TITAN is the greatest GPU out right now. So if you're running them SLI, doesn't that mean that the monitor literally sucks you into the screen through another dimension of reality? Just wondering.

Hah, I wish. Honestly if you checked my thread in regards to the system, I was running 780's with a plan to hit 4 of them, but the vram bottleneck was worrying me with 3 1660p monitors.

I just finished a new Haswell build. Details are in sig. I was upgrading from an i7 920 (@ 3.8GHz) and an OC'd 6950. Certainly takes a hell of a lot less juice to run Haswell vs Nehalem. And having my first SSD makes me want to kick myself for not switching sooner.

Only thing I couldn't bring myself to do was bite the bullet and go Win8, it'll be Win7 for me for a while at least. Nice to be back on Tom's though.

EDIT: Pictures will be added after work. Don't want to upset a mod on my first day back......

Humble Beginnings:

Did you already buy that PSU?

Thanks Mate you are a life saver, I have been having some issues with random power outages. Hopefully I can get a refund and pick up a corsair one.

Stay away form the CX line. Look at XFX. They have amazing units for great prices. I recommend for you the xfx550. It will run your system perfectly.

Also, do a bit of reading about cable management. Your rig will thank you and last longer.

It is my first build, and the case sadly didnt have enough room for all the cables I did the best I could with cable ties but nobodies perfect right?

Yeah I was initially thinking I could not get enough room behind the mobo but nvm I guess I can Im going to take my pc apart and reorganise,
