That is really quite beautiful. I wonder why we don't see more gold-tone lights/components/systems like that.

I understand. I like to collect things though. Wish I had the time and money to invest in comics though. Get the right one and you are pretty well off.

Hi All
I thought I'd add mine.

IMG_0902_zpsfbpnfj0b.jpg

Specs
-I7 4930K @ 4.2GHz
-ASUS Sabertooth X79
-16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1866
-x2 ASUS GTX 780 Ti SLI
-Corsair H100i
-Samsung 840 Pro SSD
-Western Digital VelociRaptor HDD
-Corsair RM1000 psu
-ASUS ROG P278Q G-Sync Monitor
-Rosewill Thor V2 case

I've done a few mods-

I made the video card back plate out of a sheet of aluminum, the lettering was aluminum tape, and I glued an LED strip to the underside.

IMG_0916_zpsawjbon8v.jpg

I made an exhaust for the video cards. It uses a high cfm fan and seals of the rear of the video cards, pulling air through them. It dropped my video card temps by about 5 degrees.

My favorite mod was to the case, I made a video, so please check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxFPJBtK-qo&feature=youtu.be

I wanted a clean modern design with no wires visible so I rotated the case backside down and built a 7" tall base to set it on. The front panel comes off for access and provides a storage space. I covered it with wood grain vinyl and made a I/O port shield and graphics card shroud out of the boxes they came in.
