That PSU is more for the next rig rather than this one. Probably shouldn't have bought it but the thought was in a couple years I would go all out and do something like triple SLI and custom water cooling.

@ ferico87 - As in hiding or tying the cables by the drives, tucking in fan cables and possibly some cable stitching rather than big ugly cable ties. It's absolutely fine if it doesn't bother you too much but i can be quite OCD about cables :p

This is my very first build on a PC.

CASE: - Thermaltake V3 Black Edition
MOBO: MSI Z77A-G45
CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz
Cooler Master Hyper 212+ in Push/Pull
RAM: 8GB (4x2GB) Kingston KVR1333D3N9/2G
GPU: EVGA GTX 560 2GB SC
PSU: Corsair CX600M
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ES.2 1TB
DVD: ASUS DRW-24B1ST
3.5" 52-in-1 Card Reader

I know the cooler is overkill for the CPU, but I'm eventually going to upgrade to an i5 K version. Also going to upgrade GPU to a Gigabyte GTX 760.

Cable management is such a pain to do in this case but I did my best!

Well I ditched the CLC finally, lol. Still a work in progress, more parts coming today and tomorrow...
So excuse the mess, but this what I have so far.

Fractal Arc Midi R2
Maximus V Formula
3770K
8GB Trident X 2600CL10
EVGA SC ACX 760
Seasonic X-650
Crucial M4 256GB

Cooling:
Raystorm
Black Ice GT 240
XSPC RS240
Bitspower Multi-Z Tank 150mm
Swiftech MCP-655-B
4x Corsair SP120 Performance
2x Thermalright Extreme

Fixed. I understand why it's not recommended, but there was space and it did not cause any problems with the cable.

Silverstone TJ08E

PICS:

[Edit REPOSTED PICS]

COMMENTS:

The Antec is only temporary, I will be doing a custom loop on this either monthend or next month along with other modifications. The TJ08E I cut and fitted a custom window. I used a 5.25 to 3.5/2.5" converter which I will spray Matt Black in due course as I will be running a opticalless and Mechanicalless system, removed the HDD bays as it is very bulky.

I have ordered Bitfenix Alchamy cable extenders, Grey/Silver HD Audio, 24Pin, 8Pin, Molex, 3xFan connectors, SATA extenders just to match the theme of the setup. I will also be putting in a kit of Corsair Platinum DDR3 2666.

Oh right sorry, my build log is there which were from photobucket , anyways will re post.

sarinaide, I like the internal layout of that case :)

Since I have never posted a system in here, Why not.

It now has a GTX 670 that enjoys crashing under many games(I have a 650ti in for further testing to see if the drivers suck or the card is at fault.).

Silverstone is pure genius, you never go to anything else once on a silverstone. Fractal Design Arc Midi and the 350D were tempting but The aged TJ08E is just well designed for optimal airflow.

I am really pushing hard to do a custom water loop soon, but more immediately oned I get my Bitfenix Alchamy's it will look very nice with the grey/silver sleeving. Found some illuminating white SATA 6GB/s cables. Bitfenix also have rubber cable leads so I can neaten my cable management up, really pedantic about it.

I was initially going to run a NAS like system with 5x2TB drives but I sold them off as the HDD cage is not very good and petrudes over the motherboard even dislodges the RAM modules so I sold off my drives and ended up buying another 2 Intel 520 240GB SSD's for a total of 4. I have double sided taped them to the back of the motherboard tray.

This week I should get my bitfenix alchamy's and my Gentle Typhoons for the Antec.

Just changed my rig around a bit. Traded my 7870 for 2x gtx560s. I know they aren't as powerful but I don't do too much hardcore gaming and I like to tinker and this will eventually be in a micro ATX NZXT Vulcan case. I just like the idea of an mATX SLI build. The PSU is an Antec High Current Gamer 750w.

The top card is a blower style and the bottom card is a traditional single center fan style. When gaming the top card gets to 78 degrees and the bottom get to 70. Idle the bottom card is at 35 and the top one is at 56. Any Ideas on how to improve this? I am thinking about switching the cards around to see if that does anything. What are safe high end temps for a gtx560?

It always stands to reason the top card will get more heat as it sucks warmed air off the back of the lower card. A fan forcing air between the cards may help.

Nvidia specs that card upto 99c, so the 70s do not seem to bad. The idle of 50 just sounds like a lack of fresh air and the fact that the top card works all the time while the bottom one sits idle without games running.

Then again they spec my GTX 670 @ 97 and anything over 73 is unstable running folding@home(dropping the clock by 26mhz seems to fix it. Games are good at "stock" upto about 80-82 or so then they start to crash too.). I think my card is defective or something.
