New Here, here is my new build - The Incredible Hulk or The Joker :lol:

The last pc I built was about 10 years ago. I recently wanted to build one for sim racing. I forgot most of the stuff so I started browsing YouTube while I was building it. The more I looked into it, I became more addictive to modding it and making changes . I switched to a In Win 303 case since i broke one of the glass and did not like it again so I went back to this corsair case. The case is truly an eye candy. I also played with the fans a lot, trying out different ones between the HD and the regular SP from Corsair. The new Corsair Magnetic fan is truly amazing and I am using one for the rear only. I also switched out my memory from vengeance to these amazing Trident Z RGB. It took me 3 days to get to this but I am really happy about the out come. . This is half way only by the way, next is adding some more cooling into this computer and some colored cable.

You've got the 1x low rear set as intake and the 2x bottom fans as exhaust? There a reason for that direction? Looks kinda like all three are doing next to nothing.

Yeah I did that nonsense. I still wonder whether I should put the rear bottom one as an intake or just take it off completely.

Honestly, think about it. Heat rises. Common practice has the intakes low, but in front, the reasoning is that most cases have this big black box stuck to the floor in the rear. In your case, you don't have that, so I'd say use all 3 as intakes and just help the heat rise. You won't even really need high rpm, just something enough to move a little air. 2 bonuses to that, first being it puts the pretty side of the fan as visible, not the ugly backside, second being it puts a direct source of cooler air right at the gpu. Maybe take off that Noctua and put the low rear up there. The cpu won't see much if any change, you've got top exhausts, but the RGB would put a splash of green up top over the mobo. Just noticed, you've got push/pull facing intake? I'd be using the rad as exhaust and dump all the cpu heat outside. Not dump it back into the case. Again, seeing the pretty side of the fans. But thats just me.

Thank you for your opinion.
That's exactly what I was thinking about changing Noctua to Thermaltake. Front led fans are intake, CPU radiator fans are set up as exhaust.
About RGB fans for the top. I ordered a green led magnetic strip to go up top.

Yes I foamed it to try and decrease haptic feedback. When all the fans are turned to 100% it sounds like a jet plane trying to take off. Also the front fan and the radiator were sealed together to make it more efficient..

My supply of foam ran out so it looks a little tacky for the time being but it does reduce some noise.

I live in a mining town so there is a lot of dust in the air so I made little dust filters for the machine.

Note: I am using a cheap mid tower so things had to be fabricated.

Afee a friend said it looked like a space ship, I decided to call it "NASA" due to its monochrome/black and white color scheme (similar to a lot of their shuttles) with RGB, rainbow color-puking accents. Just about everything about this build is impractical in terms of performance, price, and thermals. It was purely built to be compact as well as for aesthetics.

Overall, with one exception, I'm totally happy with how the build came out. My one quibble was the look of the dual 6+2 cable going to the gpu. I was talking advantage of the cable mod discount I got with the mobo and considering the way the connectors are wired (even when using the clear cable guides) the quality of the work makes them look sloppy and less than ideal for what I was looking for. I may shop around for something cleaner looking (I'm open to suggestions).

I also struggled with gpu thermal issues for weeks during the build process. I was convinced that the front mounted radiator configuration simply wasn't working well in the case when my gpu temps were hitting 85c under load without overclocking. After weeks of playing with fan curves, trying push pull on the rad, adding the third intake fan below the rad... I almost decided to just live with the temps or even RMA the card. Then I decided to just try one last thing: add a third exhaust fan. After originally having one rear and one top exhaust, adding the third exhaust to the top made an 15-20c difference. Running between 66-70c under load depending on ambient temps in the room. It turns out that there was either too much positive pressure or simply not enough air being exhausted from the case. Either way, I'm just happy that it all worked out and I really enjoy the ring white accents of the fans. The thermals all around in my case don't exceed 75c and the system performs wonderfully in a 1440p/144hz gaming setup!

Mine is all white inside, grey outside, to simulate a current fighter aircraft. All aircraft maintenance bays are all white for better visibility and leak detection.

I live in Chandler so I am aware of your dust problem. I have a glass shelf for my TV and if I open my door for a few minutes it becomes a dust haven.

Luckily where my PC is at makes it a bit better as it is away from the front living area and the window is never opened so my glass desk and 570X never get too dusty.
