Yeah, temps get too high and I don't want to risk damaging my CPU. 1.45v, hahahaha. I have to run 1.5v to get it stable at 5GHz and temps can get over 105c.

This was benchmarked on a stupid puny little HP ProDesk machine, I'll plop it into my Z97 G5 once I get some sleep. Let's see if it'll do 4GHz with BCLK 117.64...frankly though I don't think I'll get that high hahaha. My target will be 6000 points.

@Robert Ban, if I mail you a couple of Core 2 processors, can you see what you can get on them? I've got a Core 2 Quad Q9400 and a Core 2 Duo E8500 that need some love and I haven't got a 775 board I can OC them on yet.

Oh and Robert...I'm gonna steal your spot no. 25...

Here's my target score list for my CPUs:

i7 4790K - 14K - Done
Xeon E3 1240 - 9K - Done
Xeon X3450 - 7K - Done
Xeon X3470 - 7K - Not done
i3 4130 - 6K - Not Done
C2Q Q9400 - 4.5K - Not done
C2D E8500 - 3K - Not done

The main problem of my motherboard is that it needs some CPU's with high multiplier, otherwise it wont oc very well...
And mailing me, :pt1cable: i live in Croatia BTW.

Ill see in a month i've found x48 motherboard for 30$ Nvidia SLI , currently i cannot spend on anything xD.

Nice, I'm about to head back to work so I'll update the table and mess with my i3 when I get off.

You have to screenshot the result with CPU-Z, not a screenshot of a totally random baseline. Your submission has not been accepted.

Yeah Windows 10's BS bloat can really tank your score. With just another 100-ish MHz on the i3 I posted last night I got another 400 points on an otherwise unimpressive CPU. If you can truncate the images from your reply to minimize thread scrolling that would be great.

I have already added my i3's improved score to the table before I realized I forgot to add Paladin's score, and I'm not rolling back the table.

Paladin, table will be updated shortly. And stock? You've already got your BCLK at 102.5MHz...that's not stock.

Maybe your CPU is leaking at that high of a temperature, also pretty sure 1.45V is fine.

I'd heavily recommend delidding.

You're CPU isn't at 4.6GHz. MCE is disabled on locked chips. It boosts to 4.6GHz on one core, and 4.3GHz on all cores. A 102.5MHz base clock would make it >4.4GHz all core, and >4.7GHz single core.

I will have to run it again to take a screen shot but, the link comes from my signature when I ran Passmark September 19, 2017. It does provide Hardware information, bench scores, and general information.

I feel like this is a Galaxy Quest moment

How do I make a spoiler to hide the pictures?

Nice! Table will be updated shortly

Hey Robert Ban, got a Q9400 up to 3.45GHz on a Dell Optiplex board...not bad. I have a Hyper 212 with Arctic MX-2 paste, temps under load rarely get to 65c.

Damb.. Thats almost 1GHz overclock, and better than my motherboard ... 🙁

Here are the Passmark results. If I can get voltage any higher I'd be able to do 3.5 and maybe even 4GHz, but I gotta load up low speed RAM cause once you get too far past 800MHz the system will freeze. 667mhz is loaded now, I have some 533mhz lying around I gotta try.

This is my final submission for the Q9400. Without being able to raise the voltage I can't get up to 3.5GHz like I plan to. ThrottleStop doesn't seem to want to go past 1.125v on the vcore, however my E8500 can go all the way to 1.5v, so we'll see if we can get 5GHz on it. Hehehehe. 2133MHz FSB...lol

lol EquineHero, you tell us no posting more than 1 every 72 hours but you just posted 3 scores in 1 hour, and score not +200 marks :) just saying.

So what would you use to get this Dell inspiron 660 to get more out of it :)
here is the base line of it.

That's a single processor :) My rules say "For the sake of cleanliness and keeping order, please only submit one CPU every 72 hours.

The last two scores are the same, and the first was only for comparison like some here have already posted their stock vs overclocked. And it's well over 200 marks above the stock score.

I'm not bending the rules, I'm following them to the letter.

Hey, that's the i5 3330! I had one of those before I upgraded to my Xeon E3 1240. I should have kept it, BCLK overclocking probably would have been really nice. I sold it for a Cooler Master d92, FX6300, and MSI motherboard, and 9 dollars. It's still a $75 CPU.

Edit: I can't read, it's the 3550, not 3330.
