i know for the first gen socket 1366 you could bump the multiplier by 1 giving you an even number, but I know for my 950 at high OC's it was very unstable and i always kept it at an odd number.
My 950 would do a 23x 213 giving me 4.9ghz but i could also drop down to a 21x 222 for 4.6Ghz which would give me better ram speed and timings then the 23 multiplier. Those were the day when i had way to much free time, had an excel sheet for multiplier * bclk @ voltage and gave me ram speed with timings. Went through 19, 21, 23 from 133 bclk till it would max out on each one.
