Everytime I try to update Windows 10 from version 1511 to a newer version, I get BSOD. Using Unreal Engine 4, sometimes I also get BSOD. Running chkdsk /offlinescanandfix causes BSOD. Is my hardware the problem? If so, what is the most likely cause? Thanks for the help guys.

can you make a new media (from MS via their Media Creation Tool) containing latest install ISO on a flash drive?

I'd just start from scratch (in installer menu, delete existing C: drive partitions and start over) since trying to jump all the way to 18.09 or 19.03, as applicable)...

If your Windows was successfully activated, you can still skip the 'enter my product key' during install, and it should show as activated again a bit later after the install and handshake withg MS during check for updates, etc..
