[SOLVED] Trying to use laptop to have internet on my desktop PC

Hi. I have just moved. and i do not have a ethernet cable running from my router to my desktop PC. But i am using my laptop connected to wireless and then sharing it through ethernet. This is somewhat working. But my laptop shows 50/50 at least in speed tests. My dekstop. 0.20 to 2 mb/s down and then 7 upload. Anybody tried doing this at all?
I have tried some stuff. but nothing worked.

Please let me know if you have a fix!

Buy an ethernet cable so you can connect directly.
They can be quite long if necessary.

As an alternative, buy a wifi adapter for your desktop.

You can also try bridging Ethernet and WiFi adapters on your laptop, and see which will provide better results.
