Question Turning wifi to wired connection

I have a wifi device but I would prefer using it as a wired device. I would like to know if it is possible to stop the wifi device from giving out wireless connection signal so that I can instead use a usb wire to connect to my pc and share internet directly to my pc from the device.

It is not clear how your network is organized. Can you list your network hardware starting from the ISP to the device?

it's one of those small mifi devices, I want to know if I can disable the wireless connection, as it is now, whenever I put it on, it shows that a wifi connection is available, I want to know if it is possible to disable the wireless connection signal that the wifi device gives out.

you mean a wifi hotspot? read the manual, but doubt it.
