I am currently planning to build an SFF PC with a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with an RX 6600XT.
Sometimes I like to stream the games I play on twitch using a Ryzen 7 3700U laptop as the streaming PC, but I now plan to switch to a single SFF PC. Considering the size constraints I face with the case I plan to build in, the GPU options I have (that aren't priced crazy high) are the RX 6600 (XT) and the GTX 1660 (S, TI).
Streaming isn't really something I tend to do frequently, but it still is something I would want to keep doing. The games I mainly play are VALORANT, GTA V, and Minecraft. With all that said, would a Ryzen 5 5600 be able to manage x264 encoding alongside gaming, or should I stick with GPU encoding?
The GTX 1660 (S, TI) would probably still satisfy my gaming needs since I don't do much AAA gaming, but I would still miss out on some extra performance on the RX 6600 (XT) if I ever decide to dip my toes on some more demanding titles.
