TX3 vs TX3 EVO

I was wondering which would be a better choice since i can't fit a Hyper 212 in my case. Thanks

The TX3 Evo will provide a 1-2C difference (runs cooler) over the normal TX3, the same goes for the Hyper 212+ and Hyper 212 EVO.

So whats physically different between the TX3 EVO and the TX3? I didn't notice when I ordered mine two different ones I was just looking at the 212 and the tx3.

The heatpipes seem to be a little closer together on the EVO, just like the Hyper212+ vs Hyper 212 EVO.

Thanks, I looked it up after reading this and thought that was the only difference, just seems weird they would sell them both with only such a minute difference between the two.

Yes I also find that strange. When the 212 EVO had first come out, I figured they would change something dramatically besides the heatpipes such as a different fan, more fins, etc.

And what if I changed the fans on both TX3 and TX3 EVO and put Arctic F12 for example,would there be any difference between these two? Anybody tried something simillar?

UPDATE
Ok now I see that fans on TX3 are 92mm,so it wouldn't be possible with F12. So the question stays the same,anyone tested them with same fans?
