Hi guys,
I know this may be a silly question, but how do I undo having both an SSD and HDD on a laptop?
I had the SDD with the OS and programs [C:]and the HDD as storage [D:]. I savagely removed the HDD after backing it up, and put the optical unit back in its place. But now I seem to have broken the path to Documents, Images, Music, Video, Downloads... Basically, I don't have storage.
What I tried was to restore to default the location of those folders from their Properties menu I get the error:
"An error occurred applying attributes to the file:
D:\Documents
The device is not ready."
Please help me out, I'm giving this laptop away and I need it working with the SSD. Thanks!
I have a Dell laptop, Windows 10.
About SDD partitions, this is what it has left:
Partition ### Type Size Offset
------------- ---------------- ------- -------
Partition 1 System 499 MB 1024 KB
Partition 2 Primary 254 GB 501 MB
Partition 3 Recovery 846 MB 255 GB
