Hello! Please help
System
Fresh Reinstall [Windows 10]
Fresh Install [MSI GeForce 4080 GPU]
32GB DDR4 Ram
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12C
2TB SSD
750W PSU (i think)
Ive had this black screen issue for almost 2 years, comes and goes after various fix attempts.
The computer boots fine, everytime, loads straight up I put my password in good to go.
Then i start doing something intensive, aka Play Call of Duty or any other game.
Randomly minutes, hours, days all 3 of my monitors go black and Display the No Signal.
I can hear everyone talking on Discord and I can hear the game audio for roughly 15 seconds and everyone can still hear me
Then after that time i hear what sounds like windows default sound when you get an error or close something and then I cant hear anything after.
This requires a full PC Power off via button and reboot via button. And usually if it happens, and i try to reattempt a reboot and play the game it will happen again
fairly quickly requiring multiple reboots until i give up.
The weird part is the PC stays running, all LEDS, all fans and nothing changes no sound difference no excessive heat coming from the tower nothing.
Attempted Fixes:
I have taken the tower to my local PC Shop and we have attempted
Replacing some faulty fans and adding fans. [Runs Cooler]
Deep Cleaning the PC[Good]
Reseating/Testing the Ram [Good]
Assuring All Cables/Prongs are efficiently connected to GPU [Good]
Stress Testing the GPU [Good]
After playing on it for a few days, issue happened again.
I called back the Store and he suggested I purchase a new GPU and test. ( I had an GeForce RTX 3080) I just purchased the 4080 about a week ago and
it was smooth sailing after the install + resetting all drivers + hard Windows10 reinstall, until tonight. Black Screens across all 3 monitors. Rebooted about 3x and loaded Call of Duty
and all monitors just continued to die out after roughly 3 minutes of launching the game.
I am about 900$ in fixes deep and im starting to lose my mind. Now I know its not my GPU I am going to attempt to trade the Store owner my 3080 for a new PSU and a Motherboard and hope that fixes my issues. Please help me!
