Hi all,
Just had my first ever burp in my Win XP box which I built 5 months ago. I
don't often turn it off at night but last night I did. When I booted up this
morning and logged into my account it froze for a minute or so, and then I
got an error message that "Windows had recovered from a serious error".
When I looked at the details of the message here is what it said:

Error signature

BCCode : 76 BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : 819BC7A8 BCP3 : 00000002
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

The following files will be included in this report:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini040402-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\GARYB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER60.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

I rebooted and it's fine now but I'm curious as to what may have caused
this.

Any ideas?

Are you running Norton AntiVirus 2002?

This may or may not be relevant:

I've seen people online discussing similar bugchecks with different Anti-Virus programs like this in combination with Win2K and WinXP.
