[SOLVED] upgrade for current system - RTX - Advice

I currently have a Maximus Hero IX , I7 7700K , GTX 1070.
im looking for some suggestions to upgrade to.
My thought were a ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, MOBO??
£1100 ish.
other parts 970 evo NVM,E v1300, plenty HDD's / SSD.
new case would be nice.

I dont know if any new mobos are out yet for zen 3?

B550 is for Zen 3, as will x570. I do not believe they are making a new chipset, for Zen 3. Follow this guide, to better explain what you are after. Not sure if all of that is what you want new, or some parts are being reused.

thanks, everything but the CPU, MoBo and GPU will be reused, except maybe a new case if there the budget for it

Well a CPU, motherboard, and GPU is going to bust your budget slightly. Nobody really knows what the pricing will be for Zen 3.
