I have a Dell Dimension 4550 that I would like to upgrade the graphics for and I was thinking about a BFG 6200 OC. A friend at school said that it would be great (upgrade from my original MX 420) but I was worried about not having enough power out of my 250 watt psu. I looked and I can't upgrade the psu because of a hole that is only for the cord and a very small switch to change the voltage. So I tried finding one , but failed.

I want to breathe some last life into my pc for games. I have a P4 2.4ghz cpu that works great with the 1,280 mb of ram, it runs SMOOTHLY!! I also want to add a second hd for future storage.

Muchas gracias!

Should work, it's recommended psu is 250w and from what I know, Dell doesn't pack computers with crappy psus. At best, try harder to get a new psu or get a new case so you aren't limited by the design.
