Hi all. I am a full time photographer and photoshop/associated software are run intensively and daily. I run both mac and pc. The pc in the back room is getting on a bit now in age and the Graphics card is beginning to play up a bit. Its an old Geforce 8400 GS. I don't really want to upgrade the whole machine at the moment. The system is still on XP home SP3. It runs quad core @2.40 GHZ and has 3.25 GB RAM (4 gig installed).
I also use this to run 3ds max which I bought a few years ago. I use it to chill out, animation is a serious hobby. Would any of you guys be kind enough to suggest a good card that could replace the 8400 and run well on the system as it stands please? The power supply is 500 I think.
