I am wondering about upgrading my computer to have a better motherboard and cpu, however I am not very good with computers. I am not really sure what motherboard/cpu to get, but I just need an up to date, not too expensive one that can cope with current games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2. I also don't know what types of cpu's and motherboards are compatible with one another, so for future reference, any input on there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

a cheap gigabyte mobo and an athlon II 620 can be had for less than 200 bucks (someone actually linked a bundle deal a second ago, but i forgot to bookmark it..)

but that upgrade should help out alot, especially in BC2 which really likes multi-core systems.

My motherboard atm is an Asus P5LD2. My system isn't bad, it's just the requirements for bad company 2 says i need a better cpu. However since my motherboard is quite old I thought I would probably end up having to buy a new motherboard to be compatible with newer cpu.
