Upgrading cpu need to know if gpu will overkill or bottleneck it

I going to upgrade my cpu to a AMD Phenom x4 965 BE.My current gpu is a HIS Radeon HD 5670 1GB. Will it overkill it or bottleneck.

The GPU would be a bottleneck, but it probably already is, unless you have an Athlon II X2 currently.

Well, there you go, lol. It's not a bottleneck with the 220, but it will be with a 965.

Not "bad", you just won't be getting the performance you should in games with the 965. Think 6850/70 and above for AMD and GTX 560 and above for Nvidia. In fact, either of those would be a very good match for the 965, but it could handle better than those even, with an OC (maybe even at stock).
