Hello, I typically work with Virtualization and Software, not hardware so much anymore, so I'm seeking so guidance here.
I have a Sager Laptop with Windows 10 that is a few years old. Windows lives on C:\ (SSD of 500 GB) and there is an extra drive of 500 GB (D:\) of SSD where VMs live. I'm starting to hit a space limitation of VMs that I can run due to the space and would like to upgrade to 2 TB of SSD.
Currently the SSD on D:\ is a Samsung SSD 860 EVO M.2.
I see that Newegg has a Samsung M.2 drive of 2 TB in size, and I think this will work as a replacement

I'm just wondering is there anything else I need to think about when attempting to upgrade the SSD or any gotchas that I need to be aware of.
thanks in advance
