I wish to purchase a PC from the US simply because of the value for money factor. However the main issue is the fact that US power supplies run at 130V rather than 240V, meaning I could invoke a serious accident if I try using an American System in the UK.
I heard that all the components in the computer system can be be used in any system as the voltage conversion is taken care of at the PSU. With this bought in mind my question is, would I be able to safely use an American PC in the UK if I replaced the US power supply given by default with a UK unit, or are there some risks involved?
