USB mic issue

I have a ttesports shock 3d 7.1 which i bought almost 3 months ago
it has been working fine up until this morning when the mic stopped working
it is detected in the sound control panel but it doesnt detect sound
i have tried different usb slots , driver reinstallation fiddling with the control panel to no use
I contacted TT support with no response from them

Start with a system restart and go from there. Sometimes something gets screwy and a restart is the only fix. If this does not fix it, ask this same question in a more appropriate thread, as the CPU experts here are less suited and talk about peripherals than peripheral experts. Good luck.

ive restarted my pc many times and i dont think there is a more appropriate thread direct me if u can please

I'd recommend the Systems forum. It's the closest to peripherals. You could also try the Windows forum given its likely a software problem. Sorry I dont personally have an answer for you.
