Question Use for a second PC

Hi, I currently have a perfectly optimal pre-built gaming PC with up to date specs.

I am interested in building my first PC with a budget of $500 Australian dollars max. I am wondering what I could potentially use this new pc for since I already have a perfectly fine gaming pc. I don't necessarily see the need for a content streaming pc as I already stream all my shows off my phone.

What options would I have for my second PC?

I usually build something pretty modest, about once a year, just to give away as a gift. If you have a close friend or a family member who could benefit from that kind of altruism, then that is something to consider doing.

If u can't think of a use for it, we can't INVENT you a reason. More stuff are going the route of dedicated boxes, the use for general purpose PC are slowing dying.

Why put money toward a second PC that you can't think of any use for? It would probably be better to put that $500 toward upgrading your existing system. What are the specs of your current system? Is it a desktop? I'm sure there must be something worth upgrading on it.
