Question using a rgb controller with another companys products

well the title says it all can you use a
RGB controller with another company's products but il be more specific I'm currently buying an ml240r from cooler master and a p350x from phanteks. I only have some ARGB header on my motherboard and the ml240r comes with an RGB controller could I use that RGB controller for the p350x or is it limited to cooler master products only?

The controller on the 240 version has one header from the splitter left unpopulated, you can connect an ARGB led strip to that last connector. You might want to list your specs like so:

For good measure. Include all your RGB components as well.

I have had experience in building computers in the past but have decided to get into RGB for the first time and am wondering if on companies RGB controller would be compatible with another companies product
