I don't think this thread can die. after the internet and the universe as we know it ceases to exist, this thread will still be floating out there in the ether, just waiting for someone to stumble past it, comment on it, recompile it and send it on it's way to some other unsuspecting fool who will be stuck doing the same thing.

Is it it just me or is this REALLY funny? Why on earth would anyone want to overclock a Penitum 60?!? I would love to have one around to play old DOS games on, but I'm not sure what this guy is aiming for... so my question is this... WHAT IS THE POINT?

Is it even possible to overclock the original Pentium? I think it was using socket 5 - fixed frequencies of 50, 60 and 66MHz, and that chip couldn't use multipliers.

Max overclock would be 66MHz.

66mhz. even if you got that thing to run at 100mhz its not going to be noticable. flash would make that thing grind to halt.
