Very old computer working?

So I decided yesterday to run Spybot and Ad-aware while logged into her account (which has no admin privileges). I found 95 entries on spybot and 138 on Adaware!!! WTF?? I am often downloading programs (and... stuff...) from shady websites and I pretty much never get any spyware.

1. People who know nothing about computers managed to screw things up that us 'knowledgible' users cannot understand.

2. Get my GF to use Firefox, which was installed and I thought she was using.

3. My computer hates my GF.

Lets talk more about this "and... stuff..." shall we?
Have you tried bringing both your computer and your girl friend to a therapy session? I think these two have unresolved issues with their mothers.
You can also try upgrading your girlfriends BIOS to the newest version.

Psychologically speaking women are more list or structure oriented then men. This makes them more responsible and clearer headed then we are.
Then again, they do tend to think in abstracts and the majority of men tend to think in a linear fashion.
But most people that have a fair amount of experience with computers also think abstractly so its kinda unresolved there.
 
Um If you go to the Other section in the forums, she posts in there, and her avatar is a picture of her chest.



And remember, 99% of all female internet forum posters are actualy male. That too is a fact.
 
My first topic in "the other" was a BS post about Microsoft buying out all the PS3's to ruin sony. It was a rather well thought out post, and would work if microsoft wanted it to... but noooo.... they have to come out with the ZUNE media player.

Actualy, Without Mr. Bill Gates, we would not have a the Computer. Granted, Linux is fun sort of, but a Mac is no computer. People may not like him, but I would rather have his Idea of a computer, then Mr. .... shoot,... The Apple guy. Forgot his name.

P.S. It helps to know how to fix all the in's and out's of the computer and OS, otherwise, i might hate him too :).
 
DaSickNinja turned psychologist didn't say you didn't like him, just that you have repressed feelings. You also have the anti-mac syndrome. Don't worry, its completely harmless and actually quite benificial in some cases.

Ironically, by you adding that comment, you have contributed to the growth of this thread. If you really want it to die, you just need to ignore it. We are really like small children in that way.
 
Well, we are over the "Collection of Conroe Data. (Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme!)" thread. But yeah, still under the "THGC Needs You -Team 40051" thread by about 400 posts.

Other than that though, I don't think there is a way to sort the threads by post count and I am not about to go through all of them so there is no way to be sure.
