Hey guys,

I recently just purchased a Sapphire Radeon 4870 that has a really loud fan and I would like to replace it with a vga cooler. I have narrowed down the results to these and I would like to know which one you guys think would be better. Thanks

Arctic Cooling VGA Accelero Twin Turbo Pro (ACCEL-TT-PRO)

Thermaltake Duorb VGA Cooler CL-G0102

Solution
The Zalman GV1000 is good. But take in mind that It doesn't include heatsinks for the VRM (voltage regulators) (important).

Thermaltake DuOrb sounds pretty loud. In my opinion it's the worst.

About the Arctic one, after installing it, the video card will take three slots from the motherboard and case. Take in mind because it could cover the second PCI Express x16 slot from your motherboard. If you want an SLI or a CrossFire system forget about this cooler. But It works very well. This one is my choice.

Solution
+1 for the accelero, I have one of the Accelero S1's, and they perform very well. I have my 2 case intake fans mounted right below the card, and on med-high fan speed, the temps on the card rarely exceed 40-45C.

Probably should mention that I have a 4850, instead of the 4870.

I am definitely leaning toward the Arctic cooling TT pro but the only problem I have with it is the size. I definitely don't want a cooler that would cover up my PCI-E slots. Are their any slimmer vga coolers that you guys would recommend? Thanks.
