I just installed a new video card on my computer. I switched from the onboard video to a PCI card and everything is working fine. However, under the device manager I have an exclamation under Other Devices, Video Controller (VGA Compatible). Where do I go to get Win XP Pro to recognize the VGA device.

It is a Power Color Radeon 7500 PCI 64MB card.

I crossed the line into insanity so long ago I no longer have any idea which way to go to get further from the line.

Have you downloaded new drivers for the Radeon?
If it's conflicting, try disabling onboard video card in BIOS

done both of those and the new driver installation won't complete. It recommends installing a standard VGA driver first.

What do u see under Display Adapters in device manager?
Also run msinfo32.exe and take a look at the hardware configurations.
