VGA Error?

Hello,

I recently finished building a desktop from scratch, and when i turn the system on there is no POST screen and the motherboard (BioStar TA970XE) reads a VGA error.

I have an Asus HD 6670 GPU, and I'm not sure what's wrong.

it does not detect the graphic card se if the card is well seated in the slot and did you connect power to that card from the psu

I checked and it is seated in the slot, theres no extra power connector.

when i turn the computer on the fan on the graphics card turns on as well

what the debug led give you and what are the beep code you receive

the led's said theres a vga error and there was no beep code.

look in motherboard user manual for no beep code under section 6.3 page 44 bottom of page graphic card could be defective or motherboard slot do you have anther graphic card to made test

No i dont. should i try this one on a new slot?

this card was on the first pci-e slot you could try her in the second one and if it work then motherboard is the one to rma if not then it's the graphic for rma

Thanks! it looks like the gpu is defective so im going to fix that.
