Hello,
So I'm out to replace my video card on my stock HP 9452p. I decided on a EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti. Now, I only have a 350 watt power supply on my computer, so I'm looking into upgrading that as well, and am thinking of getting this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1147669&CatId=1079

Now. On tigerdirect's given data, all the numbers work out. However, looking into EVGA's website I discovered the video card needs 24 amp on a 12V. The Power supply has 2 rails: one 12V-20 amp, and the other 12V-23 amp. Would they still be compatible?

this would be the bare minimum: that card will draw 140 watts MAX. (12 amps)
Antec VP-450 450 Watt $34.98
add another 12 amps for the rest of the system and that would mean you need 24 amps on the 12 volt rail

now this will give you some breathing room for a future more power hungry card:
SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W $59.99
and its about my favorite for a single card set up (and some mulit cards too)
