Video Card solely for HDMI out?

Hey guys,

So I have a dedicated HTPC in my living room which was connected to my TV using HDMI. After a recent power outage (Yes it was connected to a surge protector which I will now also be upgrading) the HDMI port on my computer no longer works. Everything else works fine, but I can't seem to find anyway to identify the port or repair it.

I have one of these boards:

Can anyone help me identify a fairly low cost solution to getting HDMI out on my pc? Im assuming a low cost video card?

what size case do you have? is it a half or full height case?

If your onboard DVI connector still works, then you can just buy a converter cable like this one:
HDMI to DVI Cable

Half height case. its one of the moncaso's. I got the 320B.

I tried using VGA and a stereo cable but couldnt get the sound going for some reason. So as DVIv doesn't support sound Im assuming Ill have a similar issue.

Ah, didn't realized you were running sound over your HDMI

A.Radeon 7750 half height should do fine, you can get some that are fanless also, should run cool also.

yeah it should be fine, it comes with a micro to hdmi adapter, says in the description.
