Video sli cable

I have misplaced my sli cable for my evga x58 motherboard. I have another sli cable from an asus motherboard......can I use it? Are all sli bridge cables the same pinout? If so I guess all crossfire cables are the same. I realize you cannot use a crossfire cable on a sli setup or visa versa. I have two evga 580's I want to bridge together.

The SLI bridge connector pin outs are standardized.

What you need to worry about is card spacing and whether the bridge connector is long enough to connect the cards together.
