I have a problem with my ATI card display drivers killing my computer. I
have downloaded all updates but whenever the computer crashes I get a
message upon reboot telling me to update my drivers from the ATI website.

Boot into Safe Mode, open Device Manager, remove/delete the ATI drivers,
control panel, and/or Catalyst; reboot and let Windows start, do not let the
new hardware wizard run; install the latest from ATI.

Under C:/program files look for ATI technologies folder then uninstallall
folder and AtiCimUn.exe file.
Run this file and it will uninstall all ATI related files/drivers
Reboot and reinstall the new versions off the ATI website.....so be sure to
download them first.
