Hi, I'm not sure how long ago this started, because I haven't been downloading many videos, but whenever I play a video in a player (VLC, WMP, etc.), the video always plays in black & white. If I watch a video online in flash player though, it plays in normal color. I thought it might have been Windows Media Player that was the problem, so I upgraded to WMP 11 beta to see if it restored a codec or something that was missing, but nothing changed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with my dual headed nvidia card. In VLC it's probably the video hardware acceleration. Try the following -or- update your video drivers...

In VLC...

"Settings"
"Preferences"
"Video"
uncheck "Overlay video output"
click "save"
close VLC and reopen

Hope this helps :)
