voodoo drivers

I have a voodoo 5 card..Loved it .Im ready to up grade..Is it true that voodoo drivers are hard to get rid of?Ive heard that a complet format is the only way to go.Ive always had 3dfx cards,so upgrades were easy.I have a high end systom,so its not important..Well almost a year old,but it rocks for a voodoo.I tryed a none voodoo card about 6 months ago,and it did not take.I put a post in here about the same time,and got the remedy i asked at the begining.So are they hard to get rid of? PS.My best score on 3dmark 2000 was 5600..not bad for a voodoo..Can any 1 help?

When i had to get rid of my voodoo card (voodoo 3 3000 pci) i didn't have all that much trouble w/ getting rid of the drivers.
