Threads that I'm watching no longer give an email when they are updated.

This just recently started I had made no changes to my account.

The mail address is correct and the pref boxes for mail are still checked.

I've tried signing out/in......no diff.

Mail from other sources still works.

Is there any way to quickly disable email notifications for the forums? I went to alert preferences and turned off the option to receive email notifications, but it didn’t seem to change anything.

I had the opposite issue recently. I was able to fix it by clicking stop receiving all emails. Your problem is interesting, I would try unchecking those boxes, logging out, logging back in and rechecking the boxes if you haven't already.

Spoke too soon.
A few mins after my post FF gave me an update.
A few mins later I received an email for your post.
Now I have just received mail for the second post.
Hmmm.......wait and see if things are now sorted.
